Finance Intern - Accounting, Compliance, and Reporting - Summer 2026

Qualification
Required
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in: Accounting, Economics, and/or Finance or equivalent
Minimum GPA of 3.5
Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May 27th – July 31st, 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity
Be willing to work at the posted job location
Completion of accounting and auditing courses and/or working knowledge of and experience in the area
Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint required
Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge required
Preferred
Working towards a Master's degree in related area not required but desirable
Certifications desirable (e.g. CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.)
Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt certification – a plus
Data analytics software experience (ACL, IDEA, etc.) desired
PeopleSoft and/or SAP experience desired
Cost accounting/manufacturing experience desired
Demonstrated collaborative and business partnership approach
