Responsibilities
Perform full-charge bookkeeping functions, including posting journal entries and completing bank reconciliations
Handle billing processes and serve as the primary point of contact for parents regarding billing questions
Provide exceptional customer service with a calm, professional, solutions-focused approach
Assist with occasional front-desk rotations (approximately 1 hour per week), interacting with parents and students
Work cross-functionally with the Business Office and other school departments
Apply strong analytical thinking to navigate situations that are not always black and white
Qualification
Required
Experience as a full-charge bookkeeper with strong understanding of debits/credits
Hands-on experience with journal entries and bank reconciliations
Professional, customer-service-oriented communication style
Critical thinker with the ability to problem-solve and handle nuance
Preferred
Associate's degree preferred; candidates without a degree must bring strong relevant experience
Experience with Veracross is a plus, but not required
