Responsibilities
Responsible for recommendations and execution of procedures involving shipping, receiving, inventory and all aspects of warehouse procedures, including communication with purchasing and sales
Institute, support and enforce safety programs and guidelines
Select, train, direct and motivate employees
Appraise performance and recommend salary actions
Direct day and night warehouse crew and delivery drivers through Lead personnel
Schedule and insure accurate receiving and put away of stock
Insure delivery trucks are safely and accurately loaded
Insure drivers demonstrate outstanding customer service and safe working and driving habits
Insure all DOT rules and regulations are strictly enforced
Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions in warehouse, including safe storage of hazardous products
Qualification
Required
Prior management experience (distribution and warehousing environment preferred)
Experience with ERP and Microsoft Applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills with a good to excellent proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to multi-task
Must be able to obtain a forklift license (Brady to provide training)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 50lbs
Pre-Employment Screening: Ability to successfully pass job-related pre-employment screenings to include a criminal background check and drug test

Previous Prophet21 experience is preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
