Responsibilities
Handle legal assignments of varying complexity
Provide legal representation for a wide range of the Division’s client agencies, boards, commissions, officers, and employees
Day-to-day legal advice, research and writing of formal and informal legal opinions
Representation of client agencies in contested administrative hearings
Representation in federal and state court litigation
Appellate representation in all levels of federal and state courts
Qualification
Required
Possession of a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law
Membership in good standing in the Michigan State Bar
No specific type or amount of experience is required for Attorney-Staff P15
Four years of post-bar admission legal experience is required for Attorney-Senior 16
