Responsibilities
Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines (GCP, Kafka, Flink)
Own reliability, observability, and performance of the data/ML platform
Optimize infrastructure performance and cloud costs
Standardize data modeling and testing (dbt or similar)
Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation best practices
Ensure security, governance, and compliance across data systems
Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor engineering peers
Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in related field
6+ years in data engineering, ML engineering, or related fields
Strong hands-on experience with Cloud (GCP or AWS), Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Python
Proven experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML systems in production
Expertise with semantic data modeling and frameworks like dbt
Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred
Master's in Data Science, Analytics or related field
