CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP

They are seeking a Construction Management Intern to gain hands-on exposure to construction management practices and support project teams with various documentation and coordination tasks.

Responsibilities
Assist project teams with construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project records
Support coordination efforts between architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
Perform administrative tasks related to construction projects, such as document control, data entry, and file organization
Help track project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines to support timely project completion
Utilize computer software and office applications to prepare reports, logs, and correspondence
Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving efforts
Execute work in accordance with internal quality procedures, applicable codes, legislation, and industry standards to ensure project compliance and technical excellence
Actively pursue continuous learning opportunities to maintain a high degree of technical knowledge and professional competency in structural engineering
Promote and maintain a culture of safety by working in a safe manner at all times and promptly reporting all health and safety incidents or concerns
Perform additional tasks as required to support project goals, team objectives, and company initiatives
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field
Interest in construction management practices within the Architectural/Engineering industry
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and accept feedback
Proficiency in Revit, and good knowledge of industry software, including Microsoft Office Suite
Active and clear driver's license, including a successful clearance of a Motor Vehicle history check
Preferred
Basic understanding of construction documents, project workflows, and terminology
Experience working in an Engineering and/or Architectural/Engineering consulting firm
