Mechanical Engineering Internship
Zolo Carbon Smartech is a global technology company delivering real-time combustion insight to energy-intensive industries. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to contribute to the design and testing of mechanical components and systems that support their combustion monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities
Design and test reliable mechanical components and systems, following established design practices
Implement mechanical design features and enhancements based on defined requirements and design guidance
Contribute to documentation and testing to support long-term maintainability
Work closely with hardware/software engineers, systems integration, service, and production teams to support integrated solutions
Assist with hardware--software integration and internal validation efforts
Write clear and well-documented design documentation
Follow established design development standards and contribute to continuous improvement of tools and practices
Grow technical skills through collaboration with more experienced engineers and exposure to real-world systems
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (at least 3rd year undergraduate or recent graduate)
Proficiency in 3D CAD SolidWorks
Interest in manufacturing, product design, and process improvement
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with a team
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Previous experience with fiber optics (desirable)
