Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities including planning, assigning and directing work; training and developing partners; appraising performance and scheduling
Works in conjunction with upper management regarding budgeting; interviewing, hiring and determining pay; rewarding and disciplining partners; and addressing complaints and resolving problems
Oversees operational workflow and procedures through the inspection of docks, pallets, damages, overhang, breakdown and stacks. Includes maintenance needs
Provides recommendations to logistics leadership regarding total warehouse and process improvements
Monitors activity to ensure compliance with OSHA standards as well as local, state and federal regulations
Reviews daily reports and approves purchase orders of items needed for the warehouse
Monitors placement of product and machinery to ensure code and insurance standards are consistently met
Performs other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree and four or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and higher education required
OSHA 10 certification required
Minimum of 21 years of age required
Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy
Preferred
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification preferred
