Regional Sales Manager, Upper Mid States

They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage a portfolio of accounts, grow sales volumes, and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with the company’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities
Exceed sales budget while operating within established expense budget
Develop and execute a profitable Annual Regional Growth Plan and collaborate and communicate all actions needed by various functional groups to support and successfully implement the plan
Build and sustain strong customer relationships and networks to support sales growth, and help ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Use expertise to identify solutions that meet customer’s needs, presenting them with a clear rationale and value proposition to gain customer agreement
Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, applications, growth areas, customers, partnerships, products and services - OR new ways of reaching existing markets to achieve profitable growth
Maintain a professional working knowledge of water treatment processes, chemical applications, equipment, and Carus product lines within the scope of their objectives
Collaborate and connect with all applicable departments (sales, technical, customer support, product management, supply chain) to deliver high quality solutions and services to our customers, while ensuring transparency and alignment within the organization
Responsible for communicating all field intelligence, competitive trends and up to date information regarding field sales projects and opportunities and entering sales call reports through CRM tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in B2B technical sales with a proven track record of success and sales growth; water treatment experience in industrial, chemical or petrochemical industries a plus. International experience is a plus but not required
Requires excellent selling, teamwork, negotiation, organizational, communication and computer skills
Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relations and deliver customer centric solutions i.e. digs deeply into customer feedback and drives the innovations that can enable the organization to better meet customer's future needs
Ability to work within all levels of a customer organization, including but not limited to Executive Directors, Purchasing Managers, Plant Managers and Superintendents, and Plant Operators
Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, assertiveness and results orientation. Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments
Perform field related work such as audits, trials, jar tests, and conduct calibrations or minor repairs to feed equipment and control equipment maintained by Carus
Position requires 50+% overnight travel
Must reside in territory and near a good size airport (WI, MN, SD, ND, MN, ID, OR, WA, NV, UT, CO, WY)
