Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software libraries, applications, and tools for Renesas’s digital multiphase power controllers in a small fast-paced team in a highly dynamic environment
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in Python, with opportunities to work in C++
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
Troubleshoot and debug issues at every level of software technology
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursuing a bachelor or master degree
Must not have graduated before September 2026
Local candidates only
Strong Python programming skills
Understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Familiarity or experience with C++ is preferred
Knowledge of SQL databases is a plus
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Exposure to Linux/Unix environments
Interest in software development that spans a spectrum from low-level C code to high-level web/UI code
