Assistant Center Coordinator
The City of Webster Groves is seeking a Government Relations Officer to represent the interests of the Transit District at the local government level. The role involves tracking local issues, coordinating community affairs, and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders to promote collaboration and understanding of the agency's goals.

Responsibilities
Representing the interests of the District at the local government level
Identifying and tracking local issues for three transportation agencies concerning bus, rail and highway interests
Coordinating local and community affairs with internal and external agencies in an effort to increase collaboration, cooperation, and the understanding of agency goals and programs
Maintaining positive relationships with local businesses, residents, community leaders, and elected officials (including City Council members, trade groups, community organizations, etc.)
Enacting local advocacy strategies, identifying areas of mutual concern with stakeholders, and encouraging dialogue between the District and the community
Preparing correspondence, reports, talking points, and other materials to familiarize various audiences with local and community programs, issues, and priorities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science or a related field
Full-time progressively responsible experience similar to the essential functions listed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
