Responsibilities

As a subject matter expert, you will assist our Team Member’s with navigating the Company’s insurance benefits and wellness programs
As a Benefits liaison, you will assist employees with benefits enrollment questions and ensure compliance with required benefits notices and laws
Responsible for coordinating, planning, and facilitating health, wellness, and perks programs for employees
Create and manage periodic wellness challenges to boost employee satisfaction and engagement
Assist with administering various employee benefit enrollment/programs by administering annual and life event eligibility for group health insurance, life, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and health savings accounts
Communicate with all employees regarding eligibility, answering benefits-related questions, and researching resolutions while ensuring that confidentiality and federal/state regulations are met
Process and maintain all employee benefit data within the Benefits Administration system while maintaining accurate benefits records
Determine qualification of a child support order for medical, dental and/or vision coverage and manage approval and documentation of submitted qualifying life event requests
Assist in the management of employee perks programs
Search employee personnel and benefits files and provide the necessary information to authorized individuals
Assist with a comprehensive wellness program, including development of promotional and publicity plans for employees throughout the organization
Research, compile, and prepare reports, correspondence, and other information required by management, benefit providers, auditors, and governmental agencies to comply with all data privacy processed and regulations

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
Ability to maintain confidentiality and be familiar with HIPAA and other regulations pertaining to confidential health information
Demonstrate active listening skills to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
Strong communication skills both verbal and written; able to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience and speaking to others to convey information effectively
Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
Strong time management, prioritizing, and organizational skills a must
Critical thinking skills to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Proactively consider ways to assist people
Troubleshoot and determine causes of operating errors and provide a solution
Ability to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with associates, peers, and superiors
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including at least intermediate Excel skills with knowledge of formulas and functions such as pivot tables and V-lookups

Preferred

1 - 2 years of benefits administrations and/or general human resource experience is preferred
