A Property Control Attendant job is available with the City of Fort Worth Police Department Auto Pound Unit, where you will be responsible for inventorying and inspecting impounded vehicles and ensuring proper documentation and release of vehicles.

Responsibilities
Inventory property and inspect impounded vehicles for damage; document information on an impound card; escort wrecker to storage lot and ensure vehicles reach assigned parking locations
Escort all wreckers, customers retrieving vehicles, attorneys and insurance representatives on lot; locate vehicles and list all property removed from vehicle; ensure release of correct vehicle
Prepare and move unclaimed vehicles to designated auction areas for public online auction
Maintain facility grounds
Provide upkeep and care of City vehicles
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check
Preferred
Forklift and Auto-impound experience
Customer service skills
Experience working with property inventory and inspection
Bilingual (Spanish)
