Senior People Operations Generalist
Neighborly Software is on a mission to improve lives in communities through cutting-edge SaaS solutions. The Senior People Operations Generalist role focuses on attracting, rewarding, and retaining top talent while supporting day-to-day HR operations, primarily in talent acquisition.
Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruiting, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and background/reference checks
Develop and nurture candidate pipelines for key roles
Serve as a first point of contact for team member questions related to People Operations. Provide prompt, thoughtful support and guide them through policies and self-service resources
Support employee relations and investigations in partnership with the Sr. Director of People Operations
Assist with compensation, benchmarking and data collection for new roles and annual reviews
Partner with Finance to support payroll processing, audits, and issue resolution
Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications
Maintain our People systems and data with a high degree of accuracy – from ensuring HRIS records are up to date, to troubleshooting system or access issues for team members
Support updates to HR policies, employee handbook, and required documentation
Continuously look for opportunities to streamline and improve People Operations processes. Bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset to identify ways to scale our workflows as we grow, whether that’s automating a manual process or updating an internal policy for clarity
Support various People Operations initiatives as the organization grows
Qualification
Required
3+ years of People Operations experience, preferably in a high growth environment
3+ years of experience recruiting for tech and SaaS roles
Foundational knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
Hands-on experience with HRIS and benefits administration
Eagerness to learn, improve processes, and grow in a People Ops career
