Responsibilities

Calendaring hearings and deadlines in Milana
Calculating and entering deadlines for California State and Federal courts
Tracking statutory, discovery, and procedural deadlines for a high-volume PI pre-lit caseload
Docketing hearings, discovery, and court-related activity
Providing accurate hearing and deadline information to attorneys and staff
Scheduling depositions, mediations, and court appearances
Reviewing and sorting incoming mail
Auditing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets related to case status and deadlines
Maintaining accuracy and consistency across department calendaring systems
Collaborating closely with the pre-litigation team in our Los Angeles office

Qualification

Required

Minimum 2 years of calendaring experience in Personal Injury (required)
Hands-on experience using Milana for legal calendaring (required)
Strong knowledge of California court rules, procedures, and filing deadlines
Proven ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Typing speed of at least 40 WPM

Preferred

Bilingual Spanish is a plus
