Service Manager

New York Technology Partners is seeking a Service Manager who will strategically own service delivery and client satisfaction across a portfolio of enterprise applications and platforms. This role involves overseeing large application stacks, ensuring SLA performance, and driving continuous improvement across managed services engagements.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end service delivery and client satisfaction for managed IT services
Partner with senior IT and business leaders to align service execution with strategic goals
Manage large-scale application support environments across cloud and data platforms
Lead regular status updates, service reviews, and business review meetings
Oversee SLA compliance, performance tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and present technology roadmaps, budgets, and service plans
Identify risks related to compliance, security, and operations, and drive mitigation strategies
Manage internal support, engineering, and vendor resources to ensure successful delivery
Act as a client advocate, managing expectations and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
Guide teams through incident management, escalation handling, and resolution
Educate clients on relevant technology trends and optimization opportunities
Support multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining operational excellence

Required

Proven experience managing large application stacks in a Managed Services or IT Consulting environment
Strong technical background paired with business acumen and leadership skills
Hands-on experience with Application Support and ITIL / ITSM frameworks
Expertise in SLA management, service tracking, and reporting
Data-driven decision-making mindset
Excellent collaboration, communication, and client management skills
Experience supporting Consumer Products and/or Retail clients
Databricks (required)
PySpark
AWS, including: Kinesis, Lambda, CloudWatch, DynamoDB
