Sr. Manager, Key Account Specialist (Specialty Channel)
LG H&H Americas is a division of LG H&H, a leading beauty and personal care company in Korea. The role involves managing the strategic development of key retailers in the specialty beauty channel to achieve sales targets and enhance partnerships.
Responsibilities
Manage the sales team for the key account, and specialty channel business
Represent LG H&H portfolio of beauty and personal care brands at beauty specialty (i.g. Sephora, Ulta), and key accounts
Deliver annual volume, trade spend and profit plan
Ongoing analysis and review of business trends to identify gaps to plan and execution
Implement the sales strategies per customer in coordination with the sales channel strategy
Plan and implement the annual appraisals in coordination with the management level
Negotiate terms and conditions and implement the results
Make regular headquarter buyer calls, identify customer needs/priorities and create fact-based selling presentations
Ensure customer maintains a strategic product mix through SKU optimization - both new item sell-in and SKU reduction
Participate in customer payment processing including financial contracts, performance and collection
Ensure customer profitability
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; preferably in business, marketing or related field
10+ years of experience in account management, sales support or retail operations in the beauty industry
Ability to travel by car or airplane as needed, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel
Excellent interpersonal, competitive selling techniques, business acumen, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong written communication, oral communication and collaboration skills
Thorough knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles such as but not limited to sales forecasting and analysis, inventory analysis, P&L analysis, managing product assortment and competitor analysis
Exceptional relationship-building skills to cultivate strong relationships with merchants, retail partners' cross-functional teams and internal teams
Preferred
Prior experience with Sephora and/or Ulta strongly preferred
