NHS Scotland is seeking a Senior Clinical Pharmacy Support Worker to join their Community Frailty and Hospital at Home Pharmacy Team. The role involves enhancing patient experience, managing medication supply, and ensuring safety and effectiveness in patient care.

Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional care to ensure safe, timely, and efficient medicines management and supply for patients receiving care at home
Work at ward/clinic level with the Community Hospital Pharmacy Team and the wider Pharmacy service
Play a pivotal role in enhancing patient experience, facilitating communication across care providers, and assisting in taking medication histories
Manage medication supply, maintain accurate records, and ensure utmost safety and effectiveness in the hospital journey
Qualification
Required
Experience working in a pharmacy team
SVQ in Pharmacy Services at SCQF Level 6 (Full award) or equivalent
Completed or willing to work towards the underpinning knowledge programme for Pharmacy Support Workers at Fife College
Good interpersonal skills
Good communication skills
Passion for patient care
Forward thinking and flexible
Enjoy face to face interactions with patients and the multidisciplinary team
Ability to travel throughout Fife
Become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment
Demonstrate relevant permission to work in the UK
