Responsibilities

Directly supervises day-to-day operations of TMC and RA activities ensuring effective, consistent execution of Standard Operating Procedures
Monitoring and auditing staff performance to ensure safety and KPI goals are met
Maintain work schedules for staff including replacements during absences
Manage fleet activities such as scheduling, inspections and maintenance
Responsible for TIM Training program and continuous training
Participates or leads severe incidents after action review and other TIM activities
Serve as Safety Lead; Develop and update Road Management Safety Program
Conduct safety audits using field ride along and system records
Deliver corrective action or disciplinary measures when needed
Assist in the preparation of recurring or ad hoc reports or research
Perform routine administrative tasks as needed
Successful completion of SHRP2 TIM Train the Trainer Certification, National TIM Responder training, NIMS 100, 200, 300, 700

Required

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Three (3) years of experience in a Traffic Management Center (TMC), Emergency Dispatch Center, Incident Management, Roadside Assistance program, or Safety Service Patrol operation; OR five (5) years of combined relevant experience
At least one (2) year of TMC experience is required within the total experience listed above
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead, train, or oversee operational staff
Ability to work alternate work schedules and be on-call 24 hours/day (several weeks/month)
Ability to multitask and coordinate real time activities and priorities
Ability to write reports, manuals and correspondence
Valid Driver's License and pass driving record check
Successful completion of SHRP2 TIM Train the Trainer Certification, National TIM Responder training, NIMS 100, 200, 300, 700
