Responsibilities
Maintain and support standard costs and bills of materials (BOMs)
Analyze costs, variances, labor, overhead, materials, and manufacturing expenses
Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, forecasts, and operational reports for plant and corporate leadership
Review capital expenditures and monthly plant spending for accuracy and control
Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal control requirements
Participate in daily production meetings and partner with Operations leadership
Provide supervisor support to plant accounting operations
Ensure compliance with all company, corporate, and legal financial policies and internal controls
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Certified Management Accountant, Plant Controller, Cost Manager or similar experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong background in cost accounting, inventory control, and variance analysis
Experience with JD Edwards (JDE)
Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Preferred
MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus
Ability to step in quickly with minimal ramp-up
