Design Project Coordinator

The role involves assisting technical teams with project management tasks, coordinating technical documents, and supporting proposal development for electric utility projects.

Responsibilities

Assist technical teams in the organization and coordination of technical documents and drawings
Manage upload and transfer of deliverables and submittals
Assist with document control, including upload and acquisition of files while maintaining credentials for Customer access
Assist with tasks to support proposals for new business
Develop and track proposals and data
Assist project management teams in planning, organizing, and managing various projects, providing detailed data to support decision-making
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using established computer platforms
Track milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments
Set up and manage project collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint sites
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for internal and client review
Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-up and completion

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field with 0-2+ years of relevant experience is preferred
An Associate's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field with 2-4+ years of relevant experience will be considered
HS Diploma with 5+ years of directly relevant experience will be considered
Previous experience in an administrative, project coordinating or related position in an engineering or other technical setting
Familiarity with the electric utility industry is highly desirable; Candidates with previous experience working directly at an electric utility or in a consulting environment for electric utilities are highly preferred
Experience with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking capabilities are required to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated experience with customer-facing activity/responsibilities

Preferred

Experience with project management software (e.g., Workfront, MS Project or P6) is preferred
