Serve as a program director
Demonstrate potential for research and publication
Provide service to the discipline/university
Qualification
Required
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree required
Preferred doctorate degree at the time of appointment
Background in social work practice
Experience or expertise in one or more of the following areas: child welfare, family relationships, addictions, aging studies, incarceration, and other areas relevant to the field of human services and social work
At least two years work experience as a social worker
Teaching experience
Ability to teach current departmental offerings and develop courses in social work or their areas of expertise
Interest in serving as a program director
Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching
Demonstrate potential for research and publication
Service to the discipline/university
Preferred
ABD applications will also be considered
