Office Manager
Navigate Search is a local CPA firm based in Essex County, NJ, seeking an experienced Office Manager to support their partners and staff. The Office Manager will oversee daily operations, maintain organization, and act as a liaison between leadership, staff, and external vendors.
Responsibilities
Manage daily office operations, scheduling, and workflow coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for office vendors, building management, and service providers
Support partners and managers with administrative needs, scheduling, and document coordination
Oversee onboarding and offboarding logistics for new hires
Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and technology needs
Assist with basic HR and payroll administration (time tracking, benefits coordination, records)
Help manage client-facing logistics (mail, filings, document organization, portals)
Maintain firm calendars, deadlines, and internal communications
Support firm initiatives related to process improvement and organization
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as an Office Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Administrator
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable handling confidential information
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office technology
Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience in a professional services environment (CPA firm, law firm, financial services preferred)
