Clinical Pharmacist Manager

Responsibilities
Lead, organize, and improve pharmacy services to ensure safe, effective, and cost‑efficient medication therapy
Participate in system, regional, and local committees to represent pharmacy operations and clinical initiatives
Support recruitment, staff development, performance management, and succession planning
Oversee operational, productivity, and financial targets
Manage onboarding and continuing education programs for pharmacy and non‑pharmacy staff
Serve as the Pharmacist‑in‑Charge (PIC) for one or more pharmacy locations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
Lead formulary management efforts and standardize order sets
Advance clinical pharmacy programs and services
Support multidisciplinary care team collaboration and reduce clinical variation
Coordinate investigational drug services as needed
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Develop staff schedules and optimize workflow
Implement new technologies, services, and medication‑use processes
Oversee inventory management and purchasing optimization
Promote medication safety through surveillance, education, and process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
Active Oregon Pharmacist License (required at the time of hire)
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience in a relevant practice area
Preferred
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
At least 1 year of management or leadership experience
