Responsibilities

Design and implement responsive, accessible, user‑friendly web applications
Develop and customize Moodle deployments and integrate them with the broader platform ecosystem
Enhance UI/UX to increase learner engagement and usability
Implement SSO and authentication integrations (SAML, OAuth2, Okta)
Build dashboards, analytics, and reporting systems
Support data‑driven decision‑making using SQL and Python‑based solutions
Monitor and optimize site performance, scalability, and reliability
Apply security best practices and ensure data protection compliance
Maintain thorough documentation and operate within a structured ticketing workflow

Required

5 years full-stack web development experience with 2-3 years developing and/or integrating a Learning Management Systems / eLearning
Proven Moodle development and customization experience, including hands-on understanding of how Moodle operates as the LMS backbone for Education PRO
Advanced PHP development expertise, covering both front-end scripting and backend application logic
Hands-on experience with MariaDB and MySQL, including data modeling, optimization, and integration with Moodle and custom platform middleware
GitHub version control and collaborative workflow experience, including pull requests, branching strategies, and code review
AWS experience (EC2, RDS, S3), including cloud-based application hosting, scaling, and environment configuration for the Education PRO platform
Ability to work beyond Moodle in a rapid, feedback-driven environment—integrating user inputs quickly and enhancing the platform iteratively
Responsive web design with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA)
DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines
Ability to collaborate with designers to accomplish design goals

Command-line/terminal proficiency and VSCode development environment
CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, Foundation)
UI libraries (Material UI, Ant Design) with modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue)
Live streaming platform integration experience
NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations (SAML, OAuth2, Okta)
Python for backend scripting and data integration
AI/ML in education (chatbots, recommendation engines)
Large Language Model (LLM) applications development
UI/UX design and front-end enhancement capabilities
