Energy Customer Service Representative -Part Time
Country Visions Cooperative is an agriculture based cooperative dedicated to service and building long-term relationships from generation to generation. They are seeking a part-time Energy Customer Service Representative to assist members with inquiries and ensure satisfaction with services provided.

Responsibilities
Balance Assigned Drivers in our energy system and accounting system daily
Verify that new accounts are set up accurately in all accounting systems
Assist with customer issue resolution
Follow-up with new customers to ensure satisfaction with job completion and service performance
Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take directions from Customer Service Representative Lead
Work effectively with drivers, service technicians, and other personnel
Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers’ complaints, determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
Stimulate and develop positive morale and team spirit that leads to high productivity
Assist in checking all in-shipments for accuracy against the delivery ticket, proper quantity, price and location
Help balance month and year end inventory in refined fuels, oil and propane
Plan ahead of time for coverage of duties in case of a planned absence, such as vacation, or an unplanned absence
Lose no customer due to services provided by the department
Do not extend credit to customers who have not been approved by the credit manager
Know and use all the necessary resources to make proper recommendations and applications of products sold
Be aware at all times of the Cooperatives prices on commodities and services and review with your supervisor monthly
Ensure no keep-fill customer has need to call in for delivery
Let no customer complaint remain unresolved for more than 5 days
Ensure customers are informed of safe product handling
Inform your supervisor of potential problems or potential new business opportunities directly or indirectly related to Energy
Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner with no complaints
Route telephone calls to the appropriate person or department
Properly record customers’ orders and communicate the order to the appropriate person
Recommend new office and bookkeeping procedures as necessary to achieve maximum efficiency
Analyze budgets, pre-pays and contracts daily
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Division Manager
Qualification
Required
Prior phone-call customer service experience
Strong phone etiquette
Strong organizational skills
Accurate, confident and dependable
Excellent communication skills
Friendly, energetic and strong people skills
Basic math and computer skills
Microsoft suite experience
The candidate must successfully pass a background check
