Responsibilities

Assist with initiating, developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure the company’s rules and regulations are adequately communicated to all employees
Assist with the process to ensure that transfers of value to healthcare professionals in both the US and internationally are properly accounted for and reported in a timely manner
Assist with the promotion of the Code of Business Conduct, the AdvaMed Code of Ethics and various international marketing codes
Assist with the review, analysis, and maintenance of records of STERIS’s international dealers and distributors to ensure that all anti-bribery and anti-corruption rules and regulations are being followed
Assist with the rollout, tracking and follow-up communications related to various compliance initiatives
Assist with any desk audits undertaken by the department on an as needed basis
Assist with various data privacy projects and tasks, including but not limited to data mapping exercises, data protection impact assessments and data rights requests on an as needed basis
Develop a working understanding of the STERIS Code of Business Conduct as well as the following rules and regulations (among others):
AdvaMed Code of Conduct and other international marketing codes
Data Protection and Privacy
US Physicians Payment Sunshine Act
The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
The UK Bribery Act

Required

Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program or a master's program in one of the following competencies: Accounting, Legal, Governance Risk and Compliance, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Finance, or Marketing, and completed sophomore year
Minimum of 20 hours/week availability
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word

Preferred

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
Commitment to integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong attention to detail with analytical and critical thinking skills
Quick learner who is resourceful and team oriented
