$600/wk - $600/wkDucks Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a highly-motivated seasonal field technician for a Common Goldeneye nesting project in Fairbanks, Alaska. The internship will involve monitoring nesting attempts, capturing and banding hens, and assisting with outreach materials over a 13-week period.

Responsibilities
Using extension ladders to monitor nesting attempts
Capturing and banding incubating hens
Deploying web tags on newly-hatched ducklings
Assisting with producing outreach materials to be shared with Ducks Unlimited members and volunteers
Qualification
Required
A strong interest in waterfowl and wetlands ecology
Desire to spend long days and early mornings in the field
Determination to get the job done well
Inquisitive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
A valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to start at the duty station on April 15, 2026
Preferred
Experience working with waterfowl
