They are looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated future Structural Engineer to intern for the summer, providing hands-on practical experience while collaborating with the Structural Engineering team.

Responsibilities
Actively work on projects from concept phase to final design and through construction
Collaborate and share ideas with senior level staff on those projects
Assist with the analysis and design of structural systems/components in steel, concrete, masonry, wood, etc
Participate in project, client and team meetings
Support the team in assisting in conducting facility assessments, writing technical reports, and editing material specifications
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Civil Engineering degree at an accredited institution, with a focus on Structural Engineering
Excellent PC skills
Microsoft Office software experience required
Strong desire to learn and grow within the Civil Engineering team
Ability to work on-site and travel if needed
Preferred
Some knowledge of structural engineering software (Bentley RAM products)
3D modeling software (REVIT and AutoCAD) a huge plus
