Software Engineer - Camera
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is looking to strengthen their Camera Software Engineering team with multiple software positions open. The role involves working on system and software architecture, developing new imaging features, and collaborating with various ecosystems to enhance camera technology for smartphones and other devices.

Responsibilities
Applies knowledge of Camera to assist in the design, development, debug, implementation, and verification of camera software (e.g., Camera Image Signal Processor, 3A, Image Quality, Tuning Tools, etc.), algorithms, and features
Assists in the design or architect of IQ modules, algorithms, and feature decompositions for both hardware and software
Assists in ensuring that image quality, software conformance tests, and performance and power metrics are met to deliver camera software to customers
Collaborates with team members to design, develop, and implement camera software
Writes technical documentation and feature descriptions for Camera SW projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field
2+ years of relevant camera software experience
1+ year programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems knowledge
