Responsibilities
Implement 100-day plans for new portfolio company investment
Interim CFO, VP Finance and Controller position
Build analytics to better understand business fundamentals and support strategic direction
Build board decks and Private Equity reporting insights
Build first year budget and rolling forecast models
Prepare for first year audits
Support or lead system migration and data transformation efforts
Restructure accounting departments to improve close time and enhance data insights
Build 13-week cash flow forecasts
Improve business analytics by implementing daily, weekly, monthly metric reporting
Assist with lender covenant compliance reporting and forecasting
Fix underperforming finance departments; shorten close cycle
Due diligence projects for tuck-in acquisitions (EBITDA less than $5 million)
Manage add-on integration
Build purchase accounting entries
Transition client accounting from cash or modified cash to accrual
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 5 years total accounting or finance experience
Demonstrated experience driving change in a collaborative manner
Strong excel skills
Experience forecasting and/or building financial reporting to PE ownership is required
Strong attention to detail
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated confidence, and ability to influence change is needed
A positive and client-focused attitude are essential
Preferred
CPA and/or MBA
Systems implementation experience
Over 5 years of experience
Public accounting experience strongly preferred
