Industry Segment Manager - Healthcare

Ensinger Inc. is a plastic manufacturing company seeking an Industry Segment Manager - Healthcare to oversee all sales and marketing activities within the Healthcare sector. The primary focus is on developing strategic plans and managing key accounts to ensure new business initiatives lead to measurable success.

Responsibilities

Promote safe work practices and demonstrate a zero tolerance for non-compliance with safe work practices, policies and regulations
Provide direct account management to existing and new healthcare customers
Generate unique selling propositions and create barriers to entry for competition
Develop and implement initiatives, strategies and programs to capture new business opportunities
Commercialize North American applications and opportunities for the healthcare market, utilizing materials, processes, and technical support available within the Ensinger global organization
Provide application and market based technical training for the Healthcare market emphasizing Ensinger`s value proposition, including material selection, technical and commercial application, recommendation of use and product specifications
Prepare market analysis, industry innovation trends, regulatory developments to maintain a competitive edge and adjust strategy as needed
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure goals are met and identify areas for improvement
Create and manage industry specific marketing activities and resources
Manage strategic customer relationships, serving as the primary liaison with decision makers and top executives, ensuring strong relationships and mutual business success
Drive and support “One Ensinger” among the Sales and Product Management teams
Advance and ensure proper use of systems (i.e. CRM, ERP, etc.) and standardized processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field
Successful industrial sales experience in high performance plastics, materials and/or components
Minimum of 5 years' applicable experience in technical sales, sales management or marketing role
7 years of applicable experience in sales or marketing
Broad knowledge and experience of commercial organizations with a focus on solution-based selling and the successful implementation of world-class commercial practices
Demonstrated success partnering with customers on material and process selection, as well as design
Strong understanding of the high-performance plastics markets, channels to market, industry trends, manufacturing processes and products
Successful track-record of building and closing sales in new applications or product spaces
Strong working knowledge and the ability to prepare, present and clearly communicate Ensinger's global capabilities and value-adding company philosophy
Demonstrated successful ability to self-manage, including opportunity development
Demonstrated effective communication and management skills
Demonstrated strong customer service orientation
Demonstrated successful ability to work as part of a team and support members in their development
Ability to travel up to 40%, including visits to domestic and global Ensinger facilities
