Responsibilities
Head up technical teams and workstreams as you design, develop, test and install complex database applications software — with server, client and web components
Keep the team on the same page by overseeing relationships between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements result in flexible, reusable system components
Create more satisfied clients by writing highly complex design, coding and testing documentation that yields purpose-built technical products that meet real needs
Shine as an SME in the areas of development, domain, application design and database methodologies and best practices
Show your know-how as you provide clients with technical consulting on highly complex projects by refining existing apps and designing new application modules and components
Exercise your expertise by mentoring and guiding less experienced application designers
Qualification
Required
9+ years of experience in application/web/product design, development, programming, performance tuning and support across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle using Java in partitioned database environment
5+ years of experience working in a healthcare domain to include: Integrating application systems by different technologies such as Java, Angular, and Shell scripting using DB2, Oracle and SQL Server databases
Working on production support, application server management functions, and complex data transformations dealing with large volume of data
Writing Stored Procedures using SQL
Implementing Agile methodology
Upgrading the build and deployment to Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
3+ years of experience working with Medicaid and Medicare systems
Expertise in application development policies, procedures and analyzing costing/budgets to determine financial feasibility
