Responsibilities

Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a team of Instrument Service Sales Specialists, ensuring alignment with business goals
Set clear performance expectations, manage schedules, conduct performance reviews, and identify opportunities for professional development
Monitor individual and team sales metrics, pipeline activity, and forecasting accuracy; guide the team in achieving service sales quotas
Oversee and refine lead qualification processes, outbound and inbound outreach strategies, and customer engagement best practices
Partner cross-functionally with field sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead management
Evaluate market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to guide team strategy and prioritize business development efforts
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and customer interactions
Ensure adherence to company policy, accurate CRM documentation, and timely reporting
Represent the Inside Sales organization in cross-functional meetings and support interdepartmental initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years relevant experience; management/leadership experience highly preferred
Strong knowledge of sales processes and customer engagement strategies in a technical or scientific commercial environment
Ability to coach, mentor, and guide employees at varying experience levels
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate pipelines, KPI performance, and business trends
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
Demonstrated ability to remain organized, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred) and Microsoft Office applications
