Responsibilities
Prospect into ISVs, eCommerce merchants, and ISO partners using calls, email, and social outreach
Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into high-quality meetings
Articulate MerchantE’s differentiated value: end-to-end ownership of our modernized acquiring stack, deep integration capabilities, and commitment to customer success
Collaborate with Account Executives to book and prepare discovery calls that address each prospect’s business needs
Partner with Marketing on targeted campaigns that drive engagement in our core verticals
Maintain detailed records of activity and pipeline in Salesforce to ensure predictable reporting
Qualification
Required
Motivated self-starter energized by building connections and driving new business
Resilient and persistent — comfortable with outbound prospecting and handling rejection
Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to executives, operators, and technical buyers
Organized and detail-oriented; can manage multiple conversations without dropping the ball
Curious about fintech, payments, and how modern infrastructure powers digital commerce
Preferred
1+ year of customer-facing or sales experience (internship, SDR/BDR, or related)
