Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for improvement and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve overall quality
Collects and evaluates production samples, ensuring that materials and products meet acceptable quality standards
Maintains and analyzes records of test results, defects identified, and other key metrics
Drafts and maintains standard operating procedures, manuals, and documentation for the manufacturing, quality and business processes
Monitors and periodically reports on production quality, nonconformance, trends, and root causes of defects in products or processes
Participate in internal audits, prepare documentation and evidence for audits reports and drives resolution of audit findings
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science related field required
Minimum of 5 years of related experience required
Knowledge of ISO 9001
Advance knowledge of statistics, including capability studies and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Ability to read and interpret dimensional prints, specifications, and standards
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with individuals and cross functional teams
Effective time management skills
Detail oriented, organized and ability to work independently
Experience with championing and/or deploying quality continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. DMAIC, PDCA, 8D, Lean, 6S)
Advance knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Supplier Quality experience preferred
SharePoint knowledge preferred
