They are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to create and maintain accurate 2D drawings and 3D models supporting product development, manufacturing, and change-control processes.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain revision-controlled 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
Produce manufacturing-ready CAD to support high-precision production
Apply ASME Y14 standards, including GD&T, to communicate dimensions, tolerances, and critical features
Support engineering change control activities (ECR/ECN)
Maintain compliant documentation aligned with SOPs, work instructions, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, compliance, and manufacturability
Qualification
Required
Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks CAD
Strong working knowledge of ASME Y14 standards, including GD&T
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably regulated (AS, ISO, or similar)
Demonstrated attention to detail with strong revision and configuration control discipline
Experience supporting engineering change management processes
Ability to interpret engineering, material, and process specifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CAD, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of drafting and 3–5 years of 3D modeling experience
Preferred
SolidWorks PDM experience (data management, revision control, workflows)
Experience with secure file transfer tools (ShareFile, SharePoint)
CAD translation and comparison tools (TransMagic, Kubotek, Brava)
Working knowledge of SQL databases
