They are seeking a Head of Engineering to own technical direction, engineering execution, and team leadership across multiple active products.

Responsibilities

Own system architecture across multiple products and services
Ensure scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
Guide technical decisions and best practices across teams
Identify risks early and course-correct when needed
Support refactoring and modernization of existing systems
Oversee frontend dashboard rebuild and system improvements
Build and structure one or more functional engineering teams
Manage and guide developers and project managers
Set engineering standards, workflows, and expectations
Balance speed and quality across concurrent projects
Enable teams to execute independently while staying aligned
Oversee maintenance of multiple existing products
Take ownership of vendor transitions and dropped workstreams
Manage timelines, scope, and priorities across projects
Ensure delivery quality without micromanagement
Drive execution through clarity, prioritization, and decision-making

Required

8+ years experience in software engineering or technical leadership roles
Proven experience building and managing engineering teams
Strong technical background with the ability to guide developers
Exceptional problem-solving and systems-thinking skills
Experience managing multiple complex projects at once

Preferred

Experience refactoring or reverse-engineering legacy systems
Exposure to SEO-driven or data-heavy systems
Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, Go, Ruby, or Java
Experience overseeing frontend rebuilds or dashboards
