Mid LevelHoward Technology Solutions is a premier retailer of technology solutions and is seeking an AV Presales Engineer to support their sales team. The role involves on-site consultations, customer relations, and system designs to enhance AV sales in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
Travel territory, as needed, both with and without sales reps for onsite meetings and site surveys
Increase AV sales in assigned territory
Create system designs as needed
Conduct customer consultations to discuss options for system designs
Perform on-site demonstrations of new technology
Qualification
Required
Have a background in AV sales and a technical understanding of AV systems
Must have and maintain understanding of the following: Control systems, Audio systems, Projection and display solutions
Maintain standard industry certifications – CTS, Crestron, Extron, BiAmp, AMX
Have good time management and communication skills
Be able to identify the needs of customers and colleagues, and satisfy them in a timely manner
Be motivated to learn about AV products and services Howard offers, as well as new technology
Work well within a team—be able to share ideas, listen to others, and be receptive to their thoughts
