Responsibilities
Collaborates with the communications team to support business partners across Emory Healthcare
Works with internal functions to develop and implement communication strategies and manage day-to-day employee communication needs
Responsible for communication and promotion in support of: HR, IT, leadership communications and more
Creates messages and communications that are detailed, accurate and concise, and tailored to the author, vehicle and audience on a range of topics that span departmentwide messaging, meeting presentations, video scripts, key messages and talking points
Collaborates with others to develop and implement programs and communication materials for targeted audiences that enhance awareness and the utilization of services
Creates effective promotional materials including articles, brochures, forms and flyers
Designs, coordinates and updates the organizational website and related websites to educate and promote activities and programs
Serves as an internal consultant for communication best practices
Travel: Less than 10% of the time may be required
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field
Three years of experience in the development of internal communication, marketing and/or informational materials
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
Ability to produce and edit videos
Experience using a content management system
Basic graphic design capabilities
Familiarity with communication tools and technology
Technical ability to use a content management system for website pages
Drafting strategic communication plans
