Mission Support Specialist - Onsite

The Mission Support Specialist will serve as a systems administration expert, responsible for monitoring equipment health, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining customer systems in a fast-paced ISR environment.

Monitor the health and status of the equipment
Respond to all issues related to the Raytheon product
Responsible for maintaining complex customer’s systems to include:
Integration
Testing
Troubleshooting
Implementation of corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Typically requires Bachelor's degree and 5 years' of prior related work experience, an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' of prior related work experience, or in absence of a degree, 9 years' of prior related work experience is required
UNIX / Linux system administration and scripting experience
Experience in avionic system maintenance and/or operation
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Possess or obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification
Experience providing viable courses of action to the customer based on timely assessment and analysis
Integrity, reliability, and dedication in a team environment
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, system data flow charts, and technical descriptions of the systems
Ability to effectively use general and specialized test equipment to check-out and troubleshoot systems
