Nonprofit Board Member | Music x Mental Health
Superbands is a nonprofit focused on the intersection of music, fandom, culture, and youth mental wellness. They are seeking board members who can help shape the organization's vision and strategy while driving real emotional impact within creative communities.
Responsibilities
Help shape Superbands’ vision, strategy, and growth
Pressure-test ideas (and help make the good ones better)
Bring cultural fluency to decisions about programs, partnerships, and storytelling
Support fundraising through connections, credibility, and strategic thinking
Serve as a sounding board for leadership especially as we scale nationally
Champion Superbands in rooms we’re not yet in
Advise on brand, creative, or partnerships
Help unlock artist, label, or brand relationships
Guide governance and sustainability as we grow
Push us when we’re playing it too safe
Qualification
Required
Live in music, entertainment, media, culture, or brand
Have built, scaled, disrupted, or fixed something before
Believe fandom is powerful...and wildly underestimated
Are allergic to performative 'impact' and buzzword soup
Want to help shape a nonprofit that feels more like a cultural movement than an institution
Help shape Superbands' vision, strategy, and growth
