Responsibilities
As an intern, you will be involved in product manager related work for data science projects that have the potential to positively impact our members' health care access, affordability, and outcomes
Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies
Maintain complete confidentiality of company business
Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned
Perform responsibilities and special projects as required or requested
Create a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership covering the internship experience, the assigned project over the course of the summer, including the results along with any solutions or recommendations that can be leveraged by the department in the future
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Master's program in a Quantitative, Computational or related field, or has previous healthcare, data science, or technology-related internship experience
Understand machine learning, statistical analysis and data visualization practices
Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer (June – August)
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
Prior exposure to machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization practices in a practical context
Analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills Innovation, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
No more than 1-2 years' experience between bachelor's and master's degree
