Responsibilities
Perform general servicing functions including collecting payments and pass on those payments to investors, tax authorities, and insurers, often through escrow accounts
Servicing a portfolio of commercial loan accounts
Perform transaction reconciliation, research/investigation, and determining corrective actions
Monitors various system generated reports and take appropriate action based on the information appearing and company procedures
Checks and dates incoming material, sorts, and files it according to the established filing system. Retrieves materials as requested, records where the material is, and follows up to insure it is replaced in the appropriate file
Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on title abstracts, insurance forms, and other required documents
Responsible for updating data fields in the servicing system for compliance and changes needed to all types of special loans
Performs research and makes accurate and timely system changes in response to requests from investors, customers, or employees from other departments
Work alongside the sub-servicer to make sure customers are receiving the best and most efficient experience
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of experience in servicing commercial loan portfolios required
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
