Responsibilities
Build a great customer experience for internal and external Stripe teams using our infrastructure
Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization
Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach with multiple customers and stakeholders across Stripe
Debug production issues across services and several levels of the stack
Qualification
Required
3+ years of industry Software Engineering experience
Enjoy and have experience building scalable backend infrastructure
Write high quality code. We work in Scala, Java, and Ruby. Languages can be learned: we care much more about your general engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language or framework
Preferred
Experience solving complex compliance or business problems
Experiences with big-data technologies such as Spark and Presto
Experience with workflow automation tools and orchestration platforms, such as Apache Airflow
