Responsibilities
Manage multiple research projects with changing priorities
Work closely with senior team members to deeply understand the PE client’s needs
Develop and execute sourcing strategies via desktop research to identify appropriate company targets and candidates
Client-facing communication with executives and PE sponsor daily
Maintain project records, client reports with KPIs, and vendor management
Clearly and effectively communicate with key stakeholders to help inform investment decisions, grow the L Capital portfolio, and scale the Diligence & Advisory business
Work in coordination with the L Capital senior leadership for fundraising and portfolio initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate institution required
2-3 years' experience in business services required
Experience managing and executing projects simultaneously with successful ability to course-change and iterate
Experience working successfully independently and with multiple stakeholders
Track record of “original thinking” - ability to problem solve on the fly and push through project obstacles
Intellectual curiosity around new sectors, industries, business models, etc
Highly organized with strong time management skills
Effective, direct communication and strong interpersonal skills
Desire to scale, innovate, and grow with a boutique professional services firm
Preferred
B2B consulting experience, market research, talent sourcing/research, or recruiting experience preferred; priority given to candidates with software/tech, industrial, manufacturing, business services, CPG, and healthcare market experience
Exposure to the financial services industry preferred – private equity, investment banking, venture capital, and buyside and sell side acquisition
