Responsibilities
Manage a docket of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other negligence claims
Conduct case evaluations, investigations, and legal research
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands
Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and experts
Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trials as needed
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
Maintain consistent and compassionate communication with clients
Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and firm leadership
Ensure compliance with Texas procedural rules and ethical standards
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas
5+ years of personal injury litigation experience (Texas-specific experience strongly preferred)
Demonstrated success handling cases from intake through resolution
Strong negotiation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail
Client-centered mindset with a strong work ethic
Preferred
Trial experience and mediation experience highly desirable
