Responsibilities
Lead and manage a cybersecurity team of analysts and engineers
Oversee and guide incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective handling
Drive the development and maturation of the cybersecurity program
Stay actively engaged in technical operations, especially SOC and threat-hunting functions
Act as the escalation point for cybersecurity issues and ensure continuous improvement in detection and response procedures
Collaborate cross-functionally to align security initiatives with business objectives
Monitor team productivity and engagement, addressing performance or behavioral issues as needed
Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members
Stay current on threat landscapes, tools, and emerging security best practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 2 years managing direct reports in a security or SOC team
Strong recent hands-on technical background in security engineering, SOC analysis, threat hunting, and incident response
Demonstrated ability to lead incident response efforts in high-pressure environments
Experience managing and developing remote technical teams
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
