Senior Director of Operations
Questeq is dedicated to quality and innovation in educational technology, primarily serving K-12 public school districts. The Senior Director of Operations will oversee technology departments, ensuring effective management processes and customer service while supervising a team of over 20 staff members.
Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility for successfully accomplishing work objectives and delivering results, setting high standards of performance for self and others and verification of performance through measurement
Provides the COO with clear and concise operational status at partner sites through a tempo of regular briefings and reporting
Copes with change; shifts gears comfortably. Able to decide and act without having the total picture. Does not become agitated when various aspects of a situation are unclear. Comfortable with risk and uncertainty
Skills in active listening and delivery of effective written and oral correspondence in due consideration of context, message, medium, and audience
Displays and promotes high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational and legal standards
Establishes a systematic course of action for self or others to ensure accomplishment of a specific objective. Sets priorities, goals, and timetables to achieve maximum productivity

Study and master Questeq’s Educational Technology Management (ETM) model and be prepared to communicate its value to internal staff and customers
Evaluate the technology equipment and related managerial needs of school districts and prescribe a rightsized support team based on Questeq’s ETM model
Advocate for the establishment and growth of rightsized teams with customers
Identify well-qualified managerial and technical talent that mesh with school district culture and facilitate matchmaking with district stakeholders
Interview, hire, onboard, and mentor managerial and technical staff
Oversee operations of educational technology management for designated sites
Leverage and coordinate internal & external services and/or resources to solve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner
Plan, implement, and maintain business strategies, processes, and procedures
Gather, analyze, and interpret data and metrics
Maintain relationships with partners and vendors
Plan and effectively facilitate large groups meetings and networking events
Qualification
Required
Master's degree preferred. College degree and equivalent work experience required
5 years' experience in director role
5 years' experience in a direct supervisory role
