Assistant Controller
HR Talent Alliance is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller for their client in the wholesale apparel business. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and supporting the finance team with various financial activities.
Responsibilities
Day-to-Day accounting tasks
Financial reporting
Reconciliations
Supporting the finance team with various financial activities
Handling bank reconciliations
Analyzing and approving vendors invoices for payment
Generating checks and
Initiating wire payments
Submitting orders for approval
Monthly reconciliation
Process credit card payments, etc
Qualification
Required
Experience working for a company in the wholesale business selling products through large retailers
3+ years experience in Accounting
Proficient with Sage 100 software
issuing letters of credit
making duty payments
calculating and paying sales commissions
working up and paying duties
Day-to-Day accounting tasks
Financial reporting
Reconciliations
Supporting the finance team with various financial activities
Handling bank reconciliations
analyzing and approving vendors invoices for payment
